Half of our hearts

My mom used to say “Red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky in morning, sailors take warning.”
This is just one of the many sayings she got from being brought up by her grandmother. I hope to write a book about her & her sayings one day. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜˜โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ณ
Peace, love & remembrance of the past to all,
Sherrie

Half of our hearts splattered in the sky

while the other half stood still

mesmerized

in the evening light

fallen between you and I

as the colours touched our eyes

we dipped our minds in golden serenity.
