977. The rain began again. It fell heavily, easily, with no meaning or intention but the fulfillment of its own nature, which was to fall and fall. ~Helen Garner

I need to keep this kind of rain in mind as I write “Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans.” Living in SoCal for 25 years has caused me to forget those days when I waded to the store with water up to my knees. Damn lucky I didn’t get sick!
Peace & wishes for good weather to all,
Sherrie
