Wow, so many great benefits from reading! For more than 30 years, I had a TV right in front of my bed & watched it before going to sleep. Recently we put our new king bed in a place where you can’t have a TV right in front of you. I have read 5 novels in just 3 months! And, it’s true, I am sleeping better than I have since I was a child. (I’ve had insomnia for as long as I can remember.) I used to read when I got home from work before I took my nap. And it really does relax you and make you forget the day’s problems.
Of course, No. 9 is true! I wouldn’t have written my novel if I hadn’t read so many novel and memoirs over my lifetime.
As far as No. 10, I totally agree that readers set and achieve a lot more goals than non-readers!
